【素材】
・ざらつきのある手触りと色むらのある色調のラフでワイルドな仕上げが特徴のホースレザー
・ソフトホース系よりも凹凸感をあえて残しており、色合いや質感が一着ずつ異なる一点物
・裏地には、1837年創業のイギリスを代表する名門テキスタイルメーカー、**ABRAHAM MOON & SONS（アブラハム・ムーン＆サンズ）**社の生地を使用
・英国でも数少ない、紡績からフィニッシングまでを一貫して自社で行うMILL（ミル）によって生産
・シェットランドウールを原料とした同社の定番素材で、英国羊毛らしいしっかりとした肉感と豊かな表情が特徴
・それでいて、見た目からは想像できないほど軽やかで、しなやかな着用感を備えている

パッと見はカーコートっぽさもありますが、丈は長すぎず絶妙なラインと身幅のバランス感を調和したありそうで探すと意外にないバランスレザージャケット。
普段ならあまり仕入れない形なのですが、展示会で試着後に頭から離れなく、見た目にワーク感はありつつもきれいにも合わせやすいデザインのため、
なんだかんだで着用しやすいのと、新型ということもあり、当店にてセレクトいたしました。

A New PINKERTON Leather Jacket Based on 1920s Workwear
Design
Crafted from Patina Horsehide, one of our signature materials.
The unique aging treatment, designed to naturally reproduce the character and depth of genuine wear over time, is applied by hand to each jacket using an original recipe perfected through countless rounds of trial and error.
The unique details and atmosphere of 1920s workwear have been carefully refined and reconstructed for a contemporary interpretation.
Distinctive period-inspired details can be found throughout the jacket, including the curved collar line, cropped length, and armhole gussets integrated into the sleeves.
The exceptional quality of this jacket delivers an outstanding wearing experience, along with the sense of excitement that comes from wearing a truly special piece.
Material
A rough, wild-finished horse leather characterized by a textured, slightly grainy hand and naturally uneven coloration.
Compared to softer horse leather types, the surface retains more of its natural texture and irregularity, making every jacket unique, with subtle differences in color and character from piece to piece.
The lining is made from fabric by ABRAHAM MOON & SONS, one of England’s renowned textile mills, established in 1837.
The fabric is produced by one of the few mills in the UK to maintain an integrated production process, from spinning through to finishing.
Made from Shetland wool, this signature fabric is characterized by the substantial body and rich character associated with British wool.
Despite its substantial appearance, the fabric is surprisingly lightweight and supple, providing a comfortable and refined feel when worn.
Silhouette & Sizing
Compared to the sizing offered over the past few seasons, this version has a more streamlined fit through the body.
At 175 cm / 65 kg, Size 38 (M) can be worn with a long-sleeve T-shirt underneath for a comfortably relaxed fit.
At 175 cm / 65 kg, Size 40 (L) can be worn with a heavyweight sweatshirt underneath for a comfortably relaxed fit.

PINKERTON, the new leather jacket from OLD JOE, is a piece that carefully refines and reconstructs the unique details and atmosphere of 1920s workwear.
At first glance, it has something of a car coat feel, but the length is kept relatively short, creating an exceptionally well-balanced silhouette. The combination of length and body width strikes a balance that may seem simple at first, but is surprisingly difficult to find in a leather jacket.
This is not a shape I would normally select for the store, but after trying it on at the exhibition, I simply couldn't get it out of my head. It has an unmistakable workwear character while being surprisingly easy to style in a cleaner, more refined way.
Ultimately, it is an easy jacket to wear on a daily basis, and being a completely new model for the brand was another reason I decided to bring it to GANKO.
This season's version is once again made from OLD JOE's distinctive Patina Brown Horse Leather, allowing you to fully appreciate the character and craftsmanship that make the brand unique.
