12.4oz OLDJOE original denim ・糸から拘り、オリジナルのバルキーさを表現し、ラスティックなネップ感を入れ込み、デニムの産地、井原にて製作・経糸にムラ、ネップ形状の強いものを黒味の強いインディゴ染料で染色し、ヨコ糸は比較的ベージュ味の綿を厳選し強撚をかけて糸に・生地はいわゆるキバタと言われる織り上がった状態のものから、特殊な方法でサンフォライズ(防縮加工)のみをかけている・通常の防縮方法とは違いますのでいわゆるリジッドデニムと呼ばれる表面にノリが付着した固い生地にはならず柔らかな手触りを表現・風合いや色味の重厚感、実際手に取った時の質感や、着用時の履きやすさ、糸使いも含めて、 OLDJOEならではのプリミティブかつモダンな存在感を持ったオリジナルデニム 12.4oz OLDJOE Original Denim Crafted with a focus on the yarn itself, expressing original bulkiness while incorporating a rustic nep texture, produced in Ibara, the renowned denim region. The warp yarns, with strong slubs and nep textures, are dyed in a deep, black-tinted indigo, while the weft yarns use carefully selected cotton with a beige tone, tightly twisted to create the thread. The fabric, woven into what is known as kibata (raw, loomstate fabric), undergoes only a special sanforization (shrink-proofing process).
