Cotton Knit Polo Shirt Inspired by the Ocean's Blue and Green Gradient Along the Horizon
[Design]

A signature piece from YASHIKI: the cotton knit polo shirt.

Inspired by the ocean stretching to the horizon under the summer sky, where blue and green melt into one another.

The gradient of the ocean’s blue is expressed by varying the texture of the piqué knit from the center of the body outward.

The central vertical line symbolizes the strong rays of summer sunlight.

[Material]

The base fabric uses piqué knit, which features a textured surface that reduces skin contact, resulting in a cool and smooth touch.

A plating knitting technique is used, combining different yarns on the front and back sides. By using two colors, it creates depth and dimension.

Buttons are made of natural black-lip shell, each with a unique appearance and a refined, iridescent sheen.

古くから繊維産業が盛んな北関東の両毛地区で生産される日本製のニットを提供。
デザイナーの故郷が石川県で、風景や文化がデザインに大きくかかわっている。
