Today, I’m excited to introduce the LOOK from CCU (pronounced "C-C-U"), a brand we are newly carrying starting from the 2025 Autumn/Winter season.

CCU has been a highly sought-after brand for some time, and now it's finally making its debut in Gunma Prefecture—exclusively at our store.

We’ve already received numerous pre-orders, and it’s looking like items may sell out quickly after arrival...

【About CCU – Brand Concept】

The brand name CCU is derived from “Chagu Chagu Umakko,” a traditional festival in Iwate Prefecture.

The festival originated from the spirit of deep affection for horses, which were once an essential part of agriculture in Japan. It was celebrated as the only day of rest during the busy farming season, reflecting appreciation for the animals.

With that same spirit in mind, CCU aims to create timeless products that grow more beloved with use.

Their concept, “LEATHER-COMFORTABLE-PRODUCT,” challenges the conventional image of leather as stiff and uncomfortable.
CCU carefully selects soft leather materials and uses pattern-making that respects the space between the human body and the garment, resulting in leather items that fit naturally into daily life.

About the Designer:

Tsubasa Kaneko, the designer behind CCU, has been involved in planning and production for several well-known brands such as WACKO MARIA and POLYPLOID. He brings a deep expertise in craftsmanship and product development.

With workwear as a base, Kaneko creates stress-free, easy-to-wear leather jackets.
Despite their reasonable pricing, the quality of CCU pieces far exceeds expectations.
