9.6ozのオリジナルネップデニムを使用した、ベスト型デザインのユニークなオーバーオールです。
デザイン
古き良き時代のワークウェアをベースに、OLD JOEらしい解釈で再構築した一本。
特徴的なのは、まるでベストを着ているかのように見えるワイドストラップ。1930年代のディテールから着想を得ており、クラシックでありながらどこかエレガントな雰囲気を漂わせます。
さらに、センタープレスを施すことで、カジュアルなワークアイテムでありながら、ドレッシーで洗練されたユニフォームのような表情を持たせています。
素材
使用しているのは、9.6ozの OLD JOEオリジナルネップデニム。
糸の段階からこだわり抜いており、タテ糸にはデニムらしい素朴さやドライな質感を出すために、あえて繊維長の短い綿を混ぜ込んで作られています。
ヨコ糸には米綿をベースに、オーストラリア綿やブラジル綿をブレンド。安定感のある質感を持ちながら、仕上げに追燃加工を施すことで、柔らかさの中に独特のシャリ感をプラスしています。
染色は黒味の強いインディゴによるロープ染色。深みのある色合いが印象的で、着込むほどに美しい経年変化を楽しめます。
また、生地は“キバタ”と呼ばれる織り上がったままの状態から、特殊な方法でサンフォライズ（防縮加工）のみを施し、ナチュラルな風合いと表面の毛羽感をしっかり残しています。
OLD JOEが追求する「重厚さと軽さの同居」を体現した特別なデニム生地は、手に取った瞬間にその違いを実感できるはずです。

Today, I’d like to introduce the new CROSS SHOULDER ANVIL OVERALLS from OLD JOE.
Crafted from 9.6oz original nep denim, this piece is a unique vest-style overall.
Design
Based on vintage workwear and reinterpreted through OLD JOE’s lens, this overall stands out with details inspired by the 1930s.
Its most distinctive feature is the wide strap construction that makes it look as if you are wearing a vest. The silhouette is wide and relaxed, giving off both a classic and elegant impression.
Additionally, the center crease elevates it from casual workwear to something that carries the refined presence of a dress uniform.
Fabric
The material used is OLD JOE’s 9.6oz original nep denim, with uncompromising attention given even at the yarn-making stage.
The warp yarns are blended with shorter cotton fibers to bring out the natural rustic texture, dryness, and bulkiness unique to denim.
The weft yarns combine American cotton with Australian and Brazilian cotton, aiming for a stable, balanced texture. A special singeing process is applied to add a crisp touch within the overall softness.
The rope-dyed indigo, with a strong blackish tone, creates a deep hue that promises beautiful aging the more it’s worn.
The fabric starts from a state known as “kibata” (raw, loom-fresh denim) and only undergoes sanforization (shrink-proofing), preserving the natural texture and surface fuzz.
This exclusive denim embodies OLD JOE’s pursuit of “the coexistence of heaviness and lightness”, a quality you can immediately feel when you hold it in your hands.

オーバーオールは個人的にとても好きで何個か持ってますが、このオーバーオールは9.6oz OLDJOE original denim を使用しており、生地が柔らかくて着用していても比較的重さを感じません。
そして、ベストを着てるかのように見えるユニークな上半身を覆うワイドストラップは1930年代からのインスピレーションです。
見た目とは反してあまりにも着やすくて、今まで着用してきたデニムシリーズのオーバーオールでは1番いいと思います。
洗濯すれば馴染むのでもっと着やすくなりそうです。
ストラップはボタンでの調整が可能で、方側のみ外して着用するスタイルもかっこいいです！
For this styling, I paired the CROSS SHOULDER ANVIL OVERALLS with the SACK JKT from CCU as the main combination. ◯
I’ve always been a big fan of overalls and own several pairs, but this one stands out. Made with 9.6oz OLDJOE original denim, the fabric feels soft and surprisingly lightweight, so it doesn’t feel heavy when worn.
The wide straps that cover the upper body—giving the impression of wearing a vest—are inspired by details from the 1930s.
Contrary to how it looks, it’s incredibly comfortable to wear, and I honestly think it’s the best overall I’ve tried among all the denim versions I’ve worn so far.
With each wash, the fabric will soften and mold to the body, making it even easier to wear over time.
The straps can also be adjusted with buttons, and styling it with just one side unfastened looks really cool as well!

オーバーオールを軸にして様々なアウターと合わせることでスタイリングに変化が生まれるので、幅広コーディネートを楽しめます。
