Today, I’d like to introduce some items from THEDAY 25AW, currently available for pre-order.

The brand is designed by Naoya Kawachi, who previously worked in PR and other roles at a well-known fashion house. Drawing from that experience, he now offers daily wear from a completely different perspective—clothing that integrates seamlessly into everyday life.

This MERINO WOOL CREWNECK KNIT was unbelievably good...

To be honest, I usually don’t wear knitwear myself. The reason is that I’ve always found the volume and overall feel to be a bit off for me.

But even for someone like me who’s not into knits, this is one I actually want to wear. The balance, the material, and on top of that—the amazing price...

We’ve already received some pre-orders, and I have a feeling this one will move quickly once it arrives.

In fact, I heard that it sold out immediately last season as well.

6PLY生地の主な特徴は以下の通りです。

ハリとコシ 6本の糸を撚ることで、しっかりとしたハリとコシが生まれます。イタリア生地でありながら、英国生地のような特徴を持つと評されることもあります。

耐久性とシワになりにくさ 糸が丈夫なため、耐久性に優れ、シワになりにくいという利点があります。

重厚感 生地の目付（重さ）が重く、着用時に包み込まれるような重厚感があります。

本来スーツなどで使用される6PLY（シックスプライ）仕様をニットに落とし込むという点も面白いです。

At our shop, this item is available in two colors: black and red.

It is made from 100% extra fine merino wool, known for its thin fibers, supple texture, and excellent heat retention.

This crewneck knit works perfectly both as a main piece on its own or as an inner layer. The design is stripped of unnecessary details and crafted with a reassuringly thick rib knit structure.

The knitting has been refined further compared to previous seasons, featuring a densely packed 6-ply construction. The term 6-ply refers to fabric woven from yarns made by twisting six strands of thread together into one.

Key characteristics of 6-ply fabric include:

• Firmness and resilience: Twisting six threads together creates a strong, structured fabric. While Italian-made, it’s sometimes compared to British fabrics for its sturdiness.

• Durability and wrinkle resistance: The yarn’s strength gives the fabric excellent durability and helps prevent wrinkling.

• Substantial weight: With a heavier weight, the fabric offers a rich, enveloping feel when worn.

It’s also noteworthy that this 6-ply construction—originally used for suits—has been applied to knitwear here, adding an extra layer of uniqueness.

The result is a knit that showcases beautiful ribbed texture, comfortable stretch, smoothness against the skin without itchiness, and striking color expression.
