オーベルジュとは、18世紀フランスを起源とする、美食を堪能しながら、滞在をも楽しむ旅籠の事。それはゆったりとヴァカンスを過ごすフランス人にとって、なくてはならない大人の隠れ家。
我々の独創的な服作りを、食と時間、空間を楽しむ、そんなオーベルジュになぞらえ活動名といたしました。
昔ながらの物づくりがどんどん消滅の一途を辿っている今、我々は現存する職人たちと共に、そのアイデアが最も輝いていた時代の製法を考察、検証しながら、その価値をお客様と共有したいと考えました。手間を惜しまぬクラシックな1皿の料理の様に。
我々のご提案したいメニューの数々はきっと1度は袖を通したことのある、極めて日常的なアイテムだと思います。そんな知っているはずの中から生まれる、新しい発見にご期待ください。
An auberge is an inn that originated in 18th-century France, a place where one can enjoy fine cuisine while also staying the night. For the French, who cherish leisurely vacations, it is an indispensable adult retreat—a hidden haven away from daily life.
We named our creative endeavor after this concept of an auberge, likening our approach to clothing to the enjoyment of food, time, and space.
At a time when traditional craftsmanship is steadily disappearing, we work alongside existing artisans to study and verify the manufacturing methods from the eras when these ideas shone most brightly, with the aim of sharing that value with our customers—much like a classic dish prepared without sparing time or effort.
The “menu” we wish to present consists of items that are extremely familiar, pieces that you have likely worn at least once in your life. From within what you already know, we invite you to discover something entirely new.
