【素材】
・バランス天竺と名付けたこの天竺は砂漠の真ん中でも着ていただけるような、そんな一枚
・オリジナルの技法、バランス強撚糸を使用
・通常、天竺に強撚糸を使うと生地が斜行しやすくなるのですが、この糸は編み地のバランスがよく、天竺でも美しいまま仕上がる特別な強撚糸
・糸にはガス焼きをかけ、毛羽を極限まで取り除いている
・ニット（布帛）の高級糸として開発された糸を、ジャージーとして使用するのはおそらく初めての試み
・糸本来の素晴らしさを活かすため、染色は余計な加工をせず、自然な風合いに仕上げている
・まるでシルクのようにドライで滑らかな肌触りを体感できる

Design

Vareuse refers to a garment derived from the sailor shirts worn by the French Navy.

Originally worn by naval personnel and workers at sea, the vareuse is characterized by a deeply cut neckline, designed for ease of wear and removal while creating an elegant drape.

Even when worn on its own, it has a presence that goes beyond a typical long-sleeve T-shirt, functioning more like a refined pullover.

This three-dimensional structure—unachievable with knitwear alone—is made possible through advanced draping techniques and the inherent qualities of the material.

Instead of ribbed cuffs, tucked cuffs are used to create a natural taper without relying on ribs, giving this jersey garment a structured yet elegant appearance.

Material

This jersey fabric, named Balanced Jersey, is designed to be wearable even in the middle of the desert.

Made using an original technique with specially developed balanced high-twist yarn.
