A mini shoulder bag featuring hand-stitched sashiko embroidery by Sashiko Gals

Each stitch is done by hand, conveying the warmth and character of true craftsmanship

Sashiko Gals is a project launched in 2024, rooted in the Otsuchi Sashiko Project, which began as a reconstruction support initiative following the Great East Japan Earthquake. The group consists of approximately 15 women aged from their 40s to 80s living in Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture.
