【素材】
・Hard Twist Ostrich Jerseyは、nonnotteのHard Twist Balance Jerseyと同じオリジナルのバランス強撚糸から生まれた、独自のジャージー素材
・シルクのようにドライで滑らかな肌触りと、強撚糸ならではの清涼感を持ちながら、今回は編み組織そのものに新しい表情を与えている
・着想の源となったのは、布帛の平織り
・本来は平面的で均一な平織りの組織を、ジャカードによって大胆に再構築し、あえて組織を誇張することで、表面にはサッカー素材のような細かな凹凸を生み出している
・凹凸によって肌との接地面が少なくなるため、汗ばむ季節にも肌離れが良く、風が抜けるような軽やかな着心地を実現

DESIGN
The Drape U Pullover with Cuff Sleeve is designed to naturally bridge the casual ease of a jersey top and the refined character of a shirt.

The defining feature is the use of shirt-style cuffs at the sleeve openings.
Although constructed as a jersey top, the cuffs introduce a clean, structured outline reminiscent of a shirt, creating a refined impression beyond simple casualwear.
The cuffs also settle naturally when the sleeves are rolled up, adding a subtle change to the styling.
Soft draping created by the fabric meets the structured definition of the cuffs.

MATERIAL
Hard Twist Ostrich Jersey is an original jersey fabric developed from the same proprietary balanced high-twist yarn used in nonnotte's Hard Twist Balance Jersey.
It combines a dry, smooth hand reminiscent of silk with the refreshing breathability characteristic of high-twist yarn, while introducing a completely new expression through its knitted structure.
The inspiration for the fabric comes from the plain weave traditionally used in woven textiles.
The inherently flat and uniform structure of plain weave has been boldly reconstructed through jacquard knitting. By intentionally exaggerating the structure, a fine, seersucker-like surface texture is created across the fabric.
The textured surface reduces the amount of fabric in direct contact with the skin, allowing excellent airflow and a light, dry feel even during warm and humid weather.
Visually, the fabric has the refined and composed appearance of a woven textile, while on the body it offers the stretch and supple comfort characteristic of jersey.
A material that quietly blurs the boundary between woven fabric and jersey.
Thanks to its specialized yarn construction, the fabric offers excellent dimensional stability, resisting shrinkage and twisting even after repeated washing.
It is also suitable for tumble drying, adding a high level of everyday practicality.

Although the construction is relatively simple, the combination of the fabric's natural drape and three-dimensional pattern creates a silhouette with a quiet presence when worn on its own.
As this piece is designed with layering in mind, particularly over tank tops, shirts, and similar pieces, we intentionally selected Sizes 4 and 5 to provide a more comfortable fit without restriction.

BUYER'S VOICE

I personally purchased the Drape U Pullover with Cuff Sleeve last year, and for this season I selected it in Chalk White, a color that feels especially appropriate for spring and summer.

Despite its spring/summer character, this is a piece that also makes an excellent layering item throughout fall and winter.

It is somewhere between a long-sleeve T-shirt and a shirt, with a distinctive presence that you simply do not see everywhere.

It is also machine washable, making it remarkably easy to incorporate into everyday wear.

In summer, I like the idea of layering it over a tank top and rolling up the sleeves for a relaxed look. In fall and winter, the cuffs and neckline stand out beautifully when worn underneath leather jackets, tailored jackets, coats, and other outerwear.

The combination of versatility and that subtle feeling of wearing something that not everyone else has is what makes this piece so appealing.

If you're looking for a highly versatile jersey top that feels different from the usual long-sleeve T-shirt, I highly recommend giving this one a try.
