Design

Based on timeless American outdoor design principles.

Features a relaxed body width, with elasticated cuffs intentionally incorporated to evoke a retro aesthetic.

Despite its ultra-lightweight construction, the fabric has firmness and structure, allowing the hood to be shaped freely—either standing upright or laid flat when worn.

Material

Micro shadow gingham fabric made from ultra-fine 140/2 cotton yarn and 21d/2 silk yarn, alternated in four-yarn sequences in both the warp and weft.

The silk yarn is used in its raw state, retaining the sericin protein layer rather than being removed, resulting in a firm, linen-like texture unlike the conventional silky feel of silk.

A final water-washing process creates differential shrinkage between the cotton and silk, producing a subtly textured surface with fine irregularities.

Ripstop construction enhances durability.
