英国カントリーウェアをモチーフの襟スエード、茶芯レザーの「GANKO別注 JB JACKET」

【デザイン】
・130年以上の歴史を誇る英国カントリーウェアの前立て、襟型をイメージしつつステンカラーコートをイメージするようなフロントはシンプルな箱ポケット、袖口のタブ仕様
・バックアウトドア要素を入れてベンチレーションにサイドベンツを施している
・シンプルな見た目ですが様々な要素を組み合わせたCCUらしいワークミリタリーも感じることのできるデザイン
・フロントはスナップボタンとジップファスナーもついており、ダブルジップ仕様のため、幅広い着こなしを楽しめる
・一番の特徴である襟部分をスエードレザーにすることで、一着で2種類のレザーを味わえる
・袖口はフラップが付き、着るインナーにより袖の調整が可能
・襟のチンストラップにより首周りの防寒が可能で、襟裏は表革のため一着で異なる表情を楽しめる

・今回のプロダクトはCCU26AWインラインにも存在しない、型から起こした群馬県高崎市にある当店でしか手にできないスペシャルなアイテム
・デザイン、シルエット、マテリアル、パーツを全て一から考えた
・130年以上の歴史を誇る英国カントリーウェアをモチーフ
・普通のレザーではつまらないため、襟に英国製シープスエードを採用
・襟裏はボディーと同素材のままにすることで襟を立てた際、異なった雰囲気になる
・ボディーには茶芯レザーを採用、レザーの風合いをより楽しめる
・シルエットも拘り、レザージャケットとコートの中間となるサイズバランスに

【素材】
・イギリス製シープレザーを使用
・茶芯と呼ばれる、ブラウンカラーに染め上げたレザーをさらにブラックで染め直す手法を採用
・この工程により、表面のブラックが経年変化や加工によって落ちることで、下地のブラウンが浮かび上がる独特の風合いを楽しむことができる
・シープレザー特有の柔らかさと品のある光沢が、重厚感とエレガントさを見事に融合させた仕上がりを実現
・ブラックの染色を手作業で落とす特殊なUSED加工が施されており、ヴィンテージライクな表情を持つ
・チンスト、フロント、袖口は同素材であるレザーのクルミドットボタンを使用
・襟部分の英国製シープレザーは、わずか0.6mmまで薄くすくことで、非常に柔らかなタッチ感を実現
・表面には起毛加工を施すことで、よりしなやかな落ち感が生まれ、使い込むほどに味わい深い表情へと変化するよう仕上げている

・誰もが知る130年以上の歴史を誇る英国カントリーウェアは間違いないといえるでしょう。私自身10年以上着用しており、この形でレザーが欲しいと思っておりました。そんな経緯で生まれた当店使用の別注アイテムです。
実はこの別注プロダクトは6年以上企画として秘めていたのですが、納得のいくクオリティーとプライスで製作できるのはCCUだと思い別注の依頼をいたしました。サンプルが到着した瞬間にデザイナー金子さんがつくる想像を超えた仕上がりに心が躍りました。本当にお願いしてよかったと思っております。年齢、世代問わず長く愛用いただける別注になったと思います。飽きの来ない最高のレザーを手にしていただけたらとても嬉しく思います。

• Inspired by the placket and collar shape of traditional British country wear with over 130 years of history, while the front design references a stainless-collar coat, featuring simple box pockets and tab-adjustable cuffs.
• Outdoor functionality is incorporated into the back with side vents that also serve as ventilation.
• While simple in appearance, the design combines various elements, giving it a workwear and military feel characteristic of CCU.
• The front features both snap buttons and a zipper closure, and the double-zip specification allows for versatile styling.
• The most distinctive feature is the suede leather collar, allowing you to enjoy two different types of leather in a single garment.
• The cuffs include adjustable flaps, enabling sleeve adjustments depending on the layers worn underneath.
• A chin strap at the collar provides protection against the cold, and since the underside of the collar uses smooth leather, the jacket offers different expressions depending on how it is worn.

• This product is a special item developed from an original pattern that does not exist in the CCU 26AW inline collection, and is available exclusively at our store in Takasaki, Gunma.
• The design, silhouette, materials, and parts were all developed from scratch.
• Inspired by British country wear with over 130 years of history.
• To avoid using ordinary leather, British-made sheep suede was selected for the collar.
• The underside of the collar uses the same leather as the body, creating a different look when the collar is raised.
• The body uses tea-core leather, allowing the leather’s character to develop beautifully over time.
• The silhouette was carefully balanced to sit between a leather jacket and a coat.

Material
• Made from British sheep leather.
• Uses the tea-core dyeing technique, where leather dyed brown is then re-dyed black.
• Through this process, as the black surface gradually fades through wear and aging, the brown base emerges, creating a distinctive patina.
• The natural softness and elegant sheen of sheep leather combine both heaviness and refinement.
• A special hand-applied used finish removes some of the black dye to create a vintage-like appearance.
• The chin strap, front, and cuffs use leather-covered dot snap buttons made from the same leather.

Buyer’s Voice
British country wear with over 130 years of history is something that anyone can recognize as timeless and reliable. I have personally worn such pieces for over ten years and always wanted a leather version in this silhouette. That idea ultimately led to the creation of this exclusive item for our store.
In fact, this project had been quietly planned for over six years. I believed CCU was the only brand capable of producing it with the quality and price balance I envisioned, so I requested this special collaboration.
When the sample arrived, I was genuinely excited. The finished piece exceeded my expectations thanks to the craftsmanship of designer Kaneko. I truly feel that asking CCU to create this piece was the right decision.
I believe this exclusive jacket can be enjoyed for many years regardless of age or generation. I would be very happy if you could experience this timeless leather piece that will never grow old.
