【素材】
・約12ozのアーカイブピースとなるデニムの風合いを追求し作成した生地
・糸から拘り、オリジナルのバルキーさを表現し、ラスティックなネップ感を入れ込み、デニムの産地、 井原にて製作
・米綿100％に拘り、弱強撚をすることで米綿の持つドライな糸質をよりしなやかに、表情のあるブラックセルヴィッチデニムへ昇華
・生地はいわゆるキバタと言われる織り上がった状態のものから、特殊な方法でサンフォライズ(防縮加工)のみをかけている
・通常の防縮方法とは違いますのでいわゆるリジッドデニムと呼ばれる表面にノリが付着した固い生地にはならず柔らかな手触りを表現
・風合いや色味の重厚感、実際手に取った時の質感や、着用時の履きやすさ、糸使いも含めて、 OLDJOEならではのプリミティブかつモダンな存在感を持ったオリジナルデニム

A Black Denim Jacket Crafted from Specially Selected Kibata Denim, Available Only This Season
Design
A signature denim piece from OLD JOE.
Unlike conventional and widely recognized denim jacket designs, it features a refined pointed collar with a clean roll, resembling that of a dress shirt, creating an elegant appearance.
Original details are incorporated throughout, including oversized interior pockets and selvedge gusset construction at the cuffs.
The denim used for this season’s capsule collection differs from the brand’s standard fabric.
To accompany the update of OLD JOE’s original denim program, a specially selected kibata (loomstate) denim has been adopted exclusively for this limited period.
This marks the first-ever black denim version released by OLD JOE.
Material
Developed to recreate the texture and character of approximately 12oz vintage archive denim.
Produced in Ibara, Japan's renowned denim-producing region, using carefully selected yarns to achieve the brand's original bulky texture and rustic nep character.
Made exclusively from 100% American cotton. By applying a combination of low and high twist spinning techniques, the naturally dry texture of American cotton is refined into a supple and expressive black selvedge denim.
The fabric begins as raw woven kibata denim and undergoes a unique sanforization (shrink-proofing) process without conventional finishing treatments.
Unlike standard shrink-proof methods, this process avoids the stiff, glue-coated texture typically associated with rigid denim, resulting in a softer hand feel.
From its rich texture and deep color to its comfortable wearability and carefully engineered yarn construction, this original denim embodies the primitive yet modern character that is uniquely OLD JOE.

Features a slightly cropped length with a moderately relaxed body width.
