The defining feature of this piece is its heavily faded appearance, to the point where the original color is difficult to identify.
The original red has faded almost entirely into a soft, pale pink, while subtle variations in color remain around the seams and overlapping areas. Rather than being defined by a conventional color name, the design centers on a faded tone that invites you to imagine its original color.
The fading, uneven coloration, and natural-looking wear have been carefully reproduced to create the impression of a garment that has been worn and washed repeatedly over many years.
Inspired by zip-up hoodies from the 1950s featuring a distinctive split-pocket construction, with the proportions and construction details based on vintage examples from the era.
The vintage-inspired silhouette and character of the original construction and stitching have been preserved.
Made from heavyweight loopback cotton fleece without brushing on the reverse side, knitted on a special machine to retain an authentic vintage texture.
