・UKムード漂う、ヘリンボーン生地のワイドバギートラウザーズ。かなりのヴィンテージライクな表情をしておりますが、AUBERGEで作ると不思議と
クラシックで上品さもあるんです。。。展示会で試着していただのですが、どのアウターやライトアウターとも相性が良くてなかなか脱げずにおりこれは良いなと。
やはり男である以上こういった加工物はどしても好きでして、けど不思議と品もあるこのパンツはコットンリネンの素材ゆえかと思っております。
知らない人が見たらヴィンテージと見間違うほどの仕上がり、それでいてきれいめにも合わせられる。このアンバランス感がとても良いです。
生地の厚さもほどよく、ストレスを感じることがないため、長くご愛用いただけるパンツです。

Cotton-linen herringbone trousers inspired by rare British vintage workwear from around the 1940s–1950s.

Design
Wide baggy trousers based on early 20th-century French military herringbone fabric, designed to develop an impressive appearance through garment processing.
Featuring a traditional French herringbone weave with a different weave structure visible on the reverse, creating a rich sense of depth and texture.
The cotton-linen blend gives the trousers a substantial presence, with natural volume and subtle irregularities in the fabric.
The design is also inspired by indigo work slacks from UK-based Fabram, known in Japanese vintage clothing and fashion circles for rare British vintage workwear from around the 1940s–1950s.
A vintage-inspired back cinch adds an authentic workwear detail.
Distressed and stained effects throughout enhance the trousers' aged, vintage character.
Material
Based on early 20th-century French military herringbone fabric, the material has been developed with a slightly heavier weight and pre-dyed using a specially formulated dye designed to fade easily during garment processing.
Made from a cotton-linen blend, combining a lightweight feel with a rich, distinctive texture.
The fabric is pre-dyed with a specially formulated, fade-prone dye to create a naturally worn-in appearance after processing.
The garment undergoes an exceptionally realistic washing and finishing process at Hōwa in Okayama, Japan.
Inspired by the faded appearance of indigo-dyed cotton-linen herringbone fabric used in early 20th-century garments, including fireman's jackets.
The fabric has a moderate weight, while garment processing gives it a soft, comfortable feel.

These wide baggy trousers feature a herringbone fabric with a distinctly British vintage feel. The surface has a remarkably aged, vintage-like character, yet when interpreted by AUBERGE, the trousers retain an unexpected sense of classic elegance.

I tried them on at the showroom, and they worked so well with both heavy outerwear and lightweight jackets that I found myself reluctant to take them off. That's when I knew they were something special.

As a man, I've always been drawn to garments with this kind of distressed finish. What makes these trousers particularly appealing, however, is the way they balance that rugged character with a refined appearance. I think the cotton-linen fabric plays a major role in achieving this balance.

The finish is so convincing that someone unfamiliar with the piece might mistake it for genuine vintage clothing. At the same time, the trousers work just as well with cleaner, more polished outfits.

This contrast between rugged vintage character and understated elegance is what makes them so appealing.

The fabric has just the right amount of weight and feels soft enough to wear comfortably without feeling restrictive. These are trousers you can enjoy wearing for years to come.
