・オーガニックコットンを使⽤した強撚⽷をタテヨコに贅沢に打ち込んだのち、天然染料で染⾊を施したカツラギ⽣地

Chino Trousers with the Appearance of Slacks, Finished with Special Charcoal and Persimmon Dyeing
Design
Based on an iconic pair of 1950s French military trousers, with subtle updates characteristic of INTERIM.
The details are carefully selected from military trousers worn across France and other parts of Europe.
Genuine water buffalo horn buttons are used on the fly front, adding a refined, luxurious touch.
Features inverted trapezoidal belt loops that require skilled craftsmanship, along with back pockets fitted with belt loops.
The upper edge of the waistband and the welted pocket openings are finished with custom-made leather piping, adding a refined and sophisticated character to the functional beauty of military design.
Material
Made from katsuragi fabric woven with tightly packed, high-twist organic cotton yarns in both the warp and weft, then dyed using natural dyes.
Available in two special dye treatments: Charcoal Dye and Persimmon Dye.
For the Charcoal Dye version, charcoal—traditionally used as a fuel—is used as the dye.
Charcoal dyeing is also traditionally associated with properties such as heat retention, moisture resistance, and antibacterial effects.
Persimmon dye is a traditional Japanese natural dye made by fermenting the juice of unripe persimmons, a technique with a history of more than 1,000 years.
The use of natural persimmon dye gives the fabric a distinctive, earthy character and depth that cannot be achieved through uniform synthetic dyeing.
Persimmon dye is traditionally known for properties such as water resistance, insect resistance, and antibacterial effects.
Both the Charcoal and Persimmon Dye versions gradually develop in color and texture through repeated wear and washing, allowing the trousers to evolve into a unique pair that reflects the way you wear them.
Silhouette & Sizing
A one-pleat design with slightly increased volume through the rise and hips, gradually tapering toward the hem.
At 175 cm / 65 kg, Size 4 provides a true-to-size fit.
At 175 cm / 65 kg, Size 5 provides a comfortably relaxed fit.

The latest version of the slacks-like chino trousers based on an iconic pair of 1950s French military trousers, which were very well received at GANKO last year.

This season, the silhouette has been subtly updated with slightly more volume through the rise and hips, combined with a single pleat and a gentle taper toward the hem. The trousers are then finished with special Charcoal and Persimmon Dye treatments, giving them an especially distinctive character while allowing you to enjoy the changes that develop with wear over time.

I personally own several pairs of INTERIM trousers, and every one of them has become incredibly useful in my wardrobe. They are versatile enough to work with a wide range of styling.

For this season, I selected more INTERIM trousers than usual, because I genuinely think the lineup is that good. If you find yourself struggling to choose just one, I’d even recommend picking up two〇

Considering that trousers featuring special treatments such as Charcoal or Persimmon Dye can easily cost well over ¥50,000 from other brands, I think being able to offer this level of material and craftsmanship at this price represents exceptional value.
