【デザイン】
・LEHの名作フォトグラファージャケット
・デザインのベースには、Andy Warholが中国で着用していたフォトグラファージャケットと、映画『My Own Private Idaho』においてRiver Phoenixが着用していたワークジャケットの要素を参照
・全36パーツで構成される、手の込んだ設計。前身頃全体に散りばめられたポケットの仕様に拘り、実用性にも優れている
・フロントのスナップボタンはインドを連想させるかのようなスナップボタン
・ダブルジップ仕様でファスナーにはベジタブルスエードの革紐を付けている
・両袖口と襟元には共地のタブを配し、調整が可能。左胸には複数のメタルDカンを取り付けることで、ワークウェアの持つ機能性と、やや露骨な存在感を強調している
・裾と内側の腰回りにドローコードを付けることで防風効果としてもちろん、シルエット調整も可能で幅広い着こなしを楽しめる
・裏地まで手を抜かず、ライトブルーとベージュの配色がお洒落なチェック柄の生地を施している
・袖裏は袖通しの良い別生地を使用
・フロントに多くあるポケットにより多少の荷物ならバックいらずで着用可能
・右内側にもポケット付き

【素材】
・適度な肉感のツイルベース生地にブリーチ加工を施し、ユーズド感と奥行きのある表情に仕上げている
・ツイル特有の綾目に加え、ブリーチによる自然な色ムラや濃淡が生まれることで、奥行きのある豊かな表情が魅力
・新品でありながらヴィンテージウェアのようなこなれた雰囲気を楽しめる生地

・寸法をみると身幅狭く感じますが、脇下部分に生地が足されており、着用すると寸法より大きく感じると思います

・LEHの26AWシーズンは個人的に今までで一番素晴らしいラインナップであると感じております。ブランド20周年を迎えた、今までの集大成ではないかと思っております。
デザイナー三上氏の気合の入ったモノづくり、素材はインドへ行き各地を駆け回り、生地を買って国内、またはネパールにて生産することでデザイン性はありながらも安価なプライスで提供できている。企業努力を感じる作品ばかりです。
もう半端ないの一言です。ちなみにこのシルエットとミドル丈のジャケットが私は好きみたいでして、つい仕入れがちなことに今シーズン気づいてしまいました。
なんでかっていったら、着こなしの幅も広く楽しめるし、ミリタリーベースで飽きないし。けど古着よりもかなり作り込まれて現代でしかできない作りですし。
またまた余談ではありますが、実はLEHというブランドが気になったきっかけのアイテムがこのフォトグラファージャケットで、当店オープンからお取り扱いしてますが、
残念なことに展開をお休みされていたようでして。20周年という節目で展開してくださったことに、私が一番喜びを感じております。
センスの塊ですよね。。よくここまで作り込めるなーと。こういうプロダクトを見てしまうと、私は服を作る側ではなく伝える側しかできないと思ってしまいます。
つくったことはないのですが（笑）本当に購入したら細部まで見ていただきたい。。感動します。ミリタリーベースなので使い勝手はもちろん間違いないです〇

【Design】
A signature photographer jacket from LEH.
The design references a photographer jacket worn by Andy Warhol in China, as well as elements of the work jacket worn by River Phoenix in the film My Own Private Idaho.
Constructed from 36 individual panels, this is an exceptionally intricate design. Particular attention has been paid to the arrangement and functionality of the numerous pockets across the front, making it highly practical as well.
The front snap buttons feature a distinctive design reminiscent of India.
Double-zip closure with vegetable-tanned suede leather cords attached to the zipper pulls.
Matching-fabric tabs at both cuffs and the collar allow for adjustment. Multiple metal D-rings are attached to the left chest, emphasizing both the functionality of workwear and a bold, utilitarian aesthetic.
Drawcords at the hem and inner waist provide protection from the wind while also allowing the silhouette to be adjusted for a variety of styling options.
Attention has been paid to the lining as well, featuring a stylish check pattern in a light blue and beige color combination.
A separate, smooth fabric is used for the sleeve lining to ensure easy layering and comfortable arm movement.
With numerous pockets across the front, the jacket can accommodate a reasonable amount of belongings without the need for a bag.
An additional pocket is also provided on the inside right.
An exceptional piece with virtually nothing to fault, and one that can even be worn as stylish workwear.
【Material】
A moderately substantial twill base fabric finished with a bleach treatment, creating a naturally worn-in look with depth and character.
The distinctive twill weave combined with the natural color variations and tonal contrasts created by the bleach treatment gives the fabric a rich, dimensional appearance.
Despite being brand new, the fabric has the relaxed, well-worn character of vintage clothing.
【Silhouette & Sizing】
The silhouette may be easiest to picture as something between a Barbour jacket and a traditional hunting jacket.
Although the measurements may make the chest appear relatively narrow, additional fabric has been incorporated around the underarm area, making the jacket feel more generous when worn than the measurements might suggest.
At 175 cm / 65 kg, size M provides a comfortably roomy fit.

Personally, I feel that LEH's 26AW collection is one of the strongest lineups the brand has ever produced. With the brand celebrating its 20th anniversary, I think this collection represents something of a culmination of everything they have developed over the years.
Designer Mikami's dedication to craftsmanship really comes through. He travels throughout India himself, sourcing fabrics from various locations, and then has them produced either in Japan or Nepal. The result is a collection full of pieces that offer a strong design identity while still being available at surprisingly accessible prices. You can really feel the amount of effort that goes into the brand.
Honestly, this jacket is simply on another level. I've also realized this season that I seem to have a particular weakness for this kind of silhouette and mid-length jacket—I keep finding myself buying them for the store.
I think it's because they offer so many styling possibilities, the military-inspired foundation gives them a timeless quality, and yet they're considerably more intricately constructed than vintage clothing, with details and production techniques that are uniquely possible in contemporary manufacturing.
As a side note, this photographer jacket was actually the piece that first caught my attention when I discovered LEH. We've carried the brand since opening the store, but it seems that this particular style had been temporarily discontinued. So I'm personally very happy to see it return for such a significant milestone as the brand's 20th anniversary.
It's just an incredible concentration of design sensibility. I find myself wondering how they manage to develop something to this level of detail. When I see products like this, it reminds me that I'm much more suited to communicating and introducing clothing than actually making it myself.
I've never made clothing myself, though（笑). If you purchase this piece, I really encourage you to look closely at all the details. It's genuinely impressive. And because the foundation is military-inspired, there's no doubt that it's highly practical and easy to wear as well.
