【デザイン】
・コットンベースのベルベット生地を使用した、リバーシブル仕様のスカジャン
・裁断後の生地をインドからネパールへと運び、各パーツごとに手振り刺繍機によって刺繍を施している
・図案には、日本的な和の要素と、インドやネパールの文化に根ざしたモチーフを織り交ぜている
・この刺繍技術は、かつて日本でも行われていたものの、現在では職人の減少によりほとんど見られなくなっている
・袖口、裾、襟には、ヴィンテージのミリタリージャケットに見られる二段リブを、オリジナルで編み立てたものを使用
・袖に大きくボリュームを持たせることで、着用時にリブが内側に入り込み、そこから落ちる独特のシルエットを形成
・袖にジッパーが施されており、開閉してベンチレーションや着こなしの変化を楽しめる仕様
・ストリートの要素を持ちながらも、どこかエキゾチックでファッショナブル。唯一無二の一着
・プロダクトとしての刺繡部分との配色バランスがセンスが良く、単に派手ではないと感じる事の出来る逸品
・恐らく日本でこの刺繍をほどこしたら、20万越えはくだらないと感じます

デザイナー三上氏の気合の入ったモノづくり、素材はインドへ行き各地を駆け回り、生地を買って国内、またはネパールにて生産することでデザイン性はありながらも安価なプライスで提供できている。企業努力を感じる作品ばかりです。
見るからに値が張りそうなベロア素材のリバーシブルスカジャンは、インド生産とすることでこの刺繡量でありながら10万以下という破格のプライスを実現。私がLEHというブランドに求めていることはデザイン性であり、そのデザイン性に対する
手に取りやすいプライス。まさに求めることを象徴するスカジャンだと思います。もちろん安っぽさは皆無でクオリティーも値段以上。
裏話ではありますが、このキャメルブラウンカラーで当店別注を企画して相談しておりましたが、悩んだ末に持ち越しましたがインラインで展開してくださり、勝手に嬉しい私です。
別注するか考えていた型であるのでそれは仕入れるわけです。

After the fabric is cut, the individual pieces are transported from India to Nepal, where each panel is embroidered using hand-operated embroidery machines
The embroidery designs combine traditional Japanese elements with motifs rooted in Indian and Nepalese culture
This embroidery technique was once also practiced in Japan, but has become increasingly rare due to the declining number of skilled artisans
The cuffs, hem, and collar feature original two-layer ribbing inspired by vintage military jackets
The sleeves are given generous volume, allowing the ribbing to naturally tuck inward when worn and creating a distinctive silhouette that falls from the ribbed sections
Zippers are incorporated into the sleeves, allowing you to open and close them for ventilation or to change the look and styling
While incorporating elements of streetwear, the jacket also has an exotic and highly fashionable character, making it a truly one-of-a-kind piece
The color balance between the embroidery and the body of the jacket demonstrates a refined sense of design, resulting in a piece that feels sophisticated rather than simply flashy
If this level of embroidery were produced in Japan, I feel the price would easily exceed ¥200,000

Personally, I feel that LEH's 26AW collection is the strongest lineup the brand has produced so far. As LEH celebrates its 20th anniversary, I think this collection represents a culmination of everything the brand has built over the years.

Designer Mikami's dedication to craftsmanship is evident throughout the collection. He travels around India himself, sourcing fabrics from different regions, then has the pieces produced either in Japan or Nepal. This approach allows LEH to offer highly distinctive designs at relatively accessible prices, and you can really feel the amount of effort that goes into each piece.

This reversible souvenir jacket, made from what looks like an undeniably expensive velvet fabric, achieves an incredible price point of under ¥100,000 despite the extensive amount of embroidery, thanks to production in India.

What I personally look for from LEH is strong design combined with a price that makes that design accessible. I think this souvenir jacket perfectly embodies what I want from the brand. There is absolutely nothing that feels cheap about it, and the quality is far beyond what you would expect for the price.

As a little behind-the-scenes story, this is actually a style I had been considering for a GANKO exclusive in this camel-brown color. After some discussion, we ultimately decided to put the idea on hold, but I was secretly very happy to see LEH release this color as part of the main collection.

Since this was a style I had already been considering for an exclusive, there was no question that I was going to stock it.
