遂に到着致しました今季のkuon別注です◯

今季とはいえど、結果的に当店で最後のkuon別注プロダクトになりますが、それに相応しい仕上がりだと思っております。

今回の別注をやる事になったのは、kuon受注会の際にデザイナーである石橋氏から『別注何やりますー？』といただき、その場で思いついたのがブラックデニムのセットアップでした。

私は普段あまりデニムを着ないですが、26awインラインで展開されていた刺し子のデニムパンツがとてもカッコよく、そのパンツに合うデニムシャツが欲しいと思いました。

そして生まれたのが今回の別注デニムシャツです。

私個人として、オープンからお取り扱いさせていただいているkuonはより思い入れの強いブランドでして、当店のような地方セレクトショップにデザイナー自らイベントの際、在店してくださったり、無理を言って別注させてもらったりととてもおせわになりました。

今季で終了してしまうことは寂しい気持ちではありますが、26awシーズンはこのデニムセットアップを着て、kuonというブランドを噛み締めたいと思っております。

Our KUON exclusive for this season has finally arrived ◯

Although this is technically our exclusive project for the current season, it will ultimately be the final KUON exclusive product we create at GANKO. With that in mind, I truly believe it has turned out to be a fitting piece to close this chapter.

The idea for this exclusive came up during a KUON order exhibition, when KUON designer Ishibashi-san casually asked me, “What kind of exclusive should we do this time?”

The idea that immediately came to mind was a black denim set-up.

I don’t actually wear denim very often myself, but I was really drawn to the sashiko denim pants from KUON’s 26AW collection. I thought it would be great to have a denim shirt that could be worn with those pants as a complete set-up.

And that is how this exclusive denim shirt came to be.

Personally, KUON is a brand that holds a particularly special place in my heart, as we have carried the brand since the very beginning of GANKO.

Over the years, KUON has supported us in so many ways. Even as a small independent select shop in a regional city, Ishibashi-san himself has come to our events and spent time with our customers, and the team has also been kind enough to work with us on exclusive projects, even when we asked for some pretty demanding things.

So, while I’m honestly sad that our relationship with KUON will come to an end this season, I want to spend the 26AW season wearing this denim set-up and really savoring what KUON means to me—and what the brand has meant to GANKO.
