60年代リーフパターン（ERDL迷彩）の希少なノンリップストップジャングルファティーグ2nd

【デザイン】
・1963年代頃から約１０年間、ベトナム戦争における標準的被服として採用された通称「ジャングルファティーグ」
・こちらは剥き出しボタンが廃止された直後、その他のディティールはそのままにボタンがフラップに隠れている2ndモデル
・3rdモデルまでの特徴であるツヤありのボタン、ボタンフライにガスフラップがつく、このモデルまでの面白い特徴が見られる
・サイドに大ぶりなポケットがつく、いわゆる「カーゴパンツ」に分類されるのですが亜熱帯地域に合わせて採用されたコットンポプリンの生地の薄さがたすけて、穿いた時のシルエットのスッキリさは格別
・カーゴポケットの中にはもう一つポケットがありM-1951パンツにも見られるレッグタイ、以後省略される希少なディテール
・アジャスターはベルトではなくボタン仕様
・裾は丸紐のドローコードですが、片側不足となります
・1948年に設立されたERDL（米陸軍技術研究開発試験所、Engineer Research and Development Laboratory）
・通称リーフパターン、（ERDL迷彩）とは当時の戦闘服だったOG-107ファティーグを改良し、熱帯地域のベトナム戦争で戦う兵士の活動にも適した熱帯戦闘服のTCU（トロピカル・コンバット・ユニフォーム、ジャングルファティーグ）が開発
・こちらはブラウンリーフになります

Rare 1960s Leaf Pattern (ERDL Camouflage) Non-Ripstop Jungle Fatigue 2nd Model
Design
• Commonly known as the “Jungle Fatigue,” this uniform was adopted as standard issue during the Vietnam War from around 1963 for roughly ten years.
• This is the 2nd model, produced just after the exposed buttons were discontinued, with buttons now hidden under the flaps while other details remain unchanged.
• Features seen up to the 3rd model include glossy buttons and a button fly with a gas flap, which make this piece particularly interesting.
• Large side pockets classify this as a “cargo pant,” but the lightweight cotton poplin fabric, suited for tropical regions, creates an exceptionally clean silhouette when worn.
• Inside the cargo pocket is an additional pocket and a leg tie, a rare detail also seen on the M-1951 pants, later discontinued.
• Waist adjusters are buttoned rather than belted.
• The hem has a round cord drawstring, though one side is missing.
• ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory) was established in 1948.
• The so-called Leaf Pattern (ERDL camouflage) was developed as a tropical combat uniform (TCU) by improving the OG-107 fatigues for soldiers operating in Vietnam’s tropical environment.
• This piece features the brown leaf variant.
