40年代チェックレーヨンを背景に、リペア痕まで再現したリメイクシャツ

【デザイン】
・1940年代の深緑をベースとしたチェックレーヨンシャツを背景に、古い時代特有の佇まいを色濃く残した一着
・所々に見られる細かなプリーツや、やや大きい広がった衿の形状などから、一段古い時代の趣を感じさせるディティールを踏襲
・擦り切れるまで着込まれ、リペアを重ねながら大切に着続けられてきた様子をイメージし、補修痕や経年の表情まで含めてリアルに表現

【素材】
・とろみのある上品なドレープ感、レーヨン最大の魅力は、落ち感のある美しいドレープ
・動くたびに自然な揺れが生まれ、上品で色気のある雰囲気を演出し、シャツ一枚でもスタイリングに奥行きが出る
・繊維が非常に細かく、シルクのような滑らかさが特徴、素肌に触れてもチクチクせず、ストレスの少ない快適な着心地
・吸湿性が高く、汗をかいてもベタつきにくい素材で通気性もある

Remade Shirt Inspired by 1940s Check Rayon, Recreating Even the Repair Marks
【Design】

Based on a 1940s deep green check rayon shirt, this piece strongly retains the distinctive atmosphere unique to garments from that era.

Details such as the fine pleats seen throughout and the slightly oversized, spread collar reflect the character of an even earlier period.

Imagined as a shirt that had been worn until frayed and carefully repaired over time, this piece realistically expresses not only the repair marks but also the aged character developed through years of wear.

【Material】

The greatest appeal of rayon lies in its elegant drape with a fluid, soft texture.

It creates a natural movement as you walk, adding sophistication and subtle sensuality—bringing depth to styling even when worn as a single piece.

The fibers are extremely fine, offering a silk-like smoothness. It feels gentle against the skin without irritation, ensuring a comfortable fit.

Highly absorbent and breathable, the fabric resists stickiness even when perspiring.

When speaking of BOWWOW, what stands out is the brand’s exceptional ability to reinterpret vintage for the modern era, along with the high level of craftsmanship seen in its processing techniques. This rayon shirt was one of the standout pieces that immediately caught my eye at the exhibition.

In the lookbook, it was styled with double-knee shorts, and that combination felt especially striking. With that in mind, we decided to buy it with the intention of proposing it as a set with the shorts. The color tones are excellent and perfectly capture the feeling of the season.
