【デザイン】
・スモーキングジャケットの持つドレス由来の品格をベースに、構造と装飾を極力削ぎ落として再設計した一着
・その考え方から、Minimum Smoking Jacket と名付けられた
・一般的なスモーキングジャケットに見られるショールカラーは採用せず、あえてシャープな襟のラインで構成
・丸みではなく、切れ味のある輪郭にすることで、静かな緊張感を持たせている
・袖はブルゾンのように立体的な構造にし、ポケットも柔らかい表情で設計
・フォーマルの空気を残しながら、日常に持ち込める佇まいに調整
・カットソー素材ならではの軽さと柔らかさがあるため、見え方に対して着心地はとても軽快
・羽織る感覚はイージーでありながら、印象は整う
・どちらも洗いを重ねることで表情が柔らかくなり、着用とともに育っていく色味
・黒をベースにわずかに赤みのニュアンスを忍ばせた色で、陰影に奥行きが生まれ、単なるブラックでは出ない、やわらかい深みを持たせている

・素材は、nonnotteが独自に紡績した Super120’s のウォッシャブルウール天竺
・紡績の段階で、糸の断面に立って残る毛羽を、撚りをかけながら内側へ巻き込む設計
・そのため表面に毛羽立ちがほとんど出ず、なめらかで自然な表情に仕上がっている
・加工に頼るのではなく、糸設計そのものによって、美しさと耐久性を両立
・ウェイトは軽めに設計しており、非常に軽快な着心地
・空気を含むような軽やかさがあり、真夏でも負担が少なく、冬はレイヤードにも適している
・ウールでありながら、季節を問わず使えるバランスに整えている
・肌離れが良く、ドライでなめらかなタッチがあり、素肌に着ても快適

Minimum Smoking Jacket in Super120’s Washable Wool Jersey

Design

A reimagined piece based on the dress-derived elegance of a traditional smoking jacket, redesigned by stripping away structure and ornamentation to the absolute minimum.

From this philosophy, it was named the Minimum Smoking Jacket.

Instead of the typical shawl collar seen on smoking jackets, it features a deliberately sharp collar line.

By choosing crisp contours over rounded forms, it carries a quiet sense of tension.

The sleeves are constructed three-dimensionally like a blouson, and the pockets are designed with a soft expression.

While retaining a formal air, the overall presence is adjusted for everyday wear.

Thanks to the cut-and-sew material, it offers exceptional lightness and softness, making it feel far lighter than its appearance suggests.

It is easy to throw on, yet instantly refines your overall impression.

With repeated washing, the texture softens and the color matures beautifully over time.

The black base carries a subtle reddish nuance, creating depth in shadow and a gentle richness that cannot be achieved with ordinary black.

Material

Crafted from nonnotte’s original Super120’s washable wool jersey, spun exclusively in-house.

During spinning, the yarn is engineered so that surface fibers are twisted inward, minimizing fuzz on the exterior.

As a result, the surface remains smooth with a naturally refined appearance.

Rather than relying on finishing processes, both beauty and durability are achieved through yarn design itself.

The fabric weight is intentionally kept light for an exceptionally comfortable wear.

It has an airy lightness, making it comfortable even in midsummer, while also ideal for layering in winter.

Though made of wool, it is balanced for year-round versatility.

It offers excellent breathability with a dry, smooth touch that feels comfortable even against bare skin.
