【デザイン】
・デザイナー曰く、「3m」という名前の由来は現在は定かではありませんが、おそらくテーマに沿って3つのパネル構成で製作しようとしたことがきっかけ
・裾には縁使いをそのまま使用し、股上は深めに設定
・袖ならぬ裾もロールアップして穿くことを前提にデザイン
・ポケットにもこだわりがあり、タックと独自のパターンを組み合わせた立体的なデザインを採用
・見た目の個性だけでなく、動きやすさも考えられたストレスフリーな仕様
・デザイナーは、美しいシルエットにはこれまで積み重ねられてきた定番のバランスやルールがあることを理解した上で、その枠に収まりすぎない「barbell objectらしさ」を大切にしている
・仕様やディテール、素材選び、仕上げに至るまで、足し算だけでなく引き算も繰り返しながら、視覚的にも一目でブランドらしさを感じられる唯一無二の一本を目指して作られたパンツ

【素材】
・縫製にはあえて太番手の糸を使用し、クラフト感のある表情を演出
・一方で、縫い代の幅や縫い目の細かさ（運針）、糸のテンションまで細かく調整することで、ラフな雰囲気を持ちながらも、決して粗雑には見えない丁寧な仕上がりに
・ブラックは製品染め、エクリュは生地の風合いを活かした炊き出し加工を採用
・色味によって異なる風合いを楽しめます

【シルエット・サイズ】
・スリムという名前からは細身のパンツを想像するかもしれませんが、実際にはブランド史上最もゆとりを持たせたワイドシルエットに仕上げられている
・サイドシームをなくして筒状のパターンを採用することで、裁断や縫製箇所を最小限に抑え、他にはない立体感のある太いシルエットを実現
・175cm65kgでサイズ1を着用してややゆとりがあり、サイズ2でオーバーサイズで着用可能

Design
Despite its name, designer says the origin of "3m" is no longer certain, but it likely came from an early concept of constructing the garment with three panels to match the collection's theme.
The hem intentionally utilizes the fabric's selvage edge as a design detail.
Designed with a deep rise and intended to be worn with the hems rolled up.
The pockets feature a unique three-dimensional construction that combines tucks with the brand's original pattern-making.
This distinctive design not only creates a unique appearance but also provides exceptional freedom of movement and everyday comfort.
While the designer respects the established principles and proportions that define a beautiful silhouette, barbell object intentionally pushes beyond those conventions to create something unmistakably its own.

Material
Heavy-gauge thread is intentionally used throughout the construction to create a handcrafted, workwear-inspired character.
At the same time, the seam allowances, stitch density, and thread tension are carefully adjusted, resulting in a garment that feels relaxed yet never rough or unfinished.
The Black version is garment-dyed, while the Ecru version features a natural scoured finish that preserves the original character of the fabric.
Each color offers its own distinct texture and character.
Silhouette & Fit
Although the name may suggest a slim silhouette, these are actually the widest trousers ever produced by barbell object.
By eliminating the side seams and utilizing a tubular pattern, the number of cutting and sewing processes is minimized, creating a bold, three-dimensional silhouette unlike anything else.
A staff member (175 cm / 65 kg) wears Size 1 for a comfortably relaxed fit and Size 2 for an oversized look.

Buyer's Voice
The moment I tried these on, I was struck by the irony of the name "3m"—despite it sounding slim, these are actually the widest trousers the brand has ever made. That contrast alone makes them a fascinating piece.
While the Ecru color was also excellent, we decided to stock only the Black version, which is available as a matching set with the jacket.
To be honest, after introducing so many white and light-colored trousers throughout the spring and summer seasons, we decided to give them a break for fall and winter. We hope all the barbell object fans will forgive this little bit of buyer's selfishness! (Laughs)
