A Lightweight Leather Jacket with a Shirt-Like Feel, Featuring a Wire-Constructed Front That Can Be Shaped to Create Different Expressions
Design
A new leather jacket featuring an unlined, single-layer construction.
The distinctive “wave” shape at the front is created by incorporating flexible wire into the placket, allowing the wearer to shape and adjust its appearance.
Slits are incorporated into the sleeves, reminiscent of a liner jacket, making it easy to roll up the sleeves.
The sleeve length has been deliberately designed with rolled-up styling in mind.
The slightly unconventional act of rolling up the sleeves of a leather jacket is incorporated as an intentional part of the design.
While the short-blouson silhouette could easily have been designed in a clean and conventional way, distinctive quirks and subtle elements of visual tension have been added throughout.
Equipped with WALDES zippers, whose rugged, classic appearance evokes vintage clothing.
The contrast between the refined character of the leather and the distinctly vintage-looking zipper is one of the more interesting details of the piece.
The distinctive forms and functional details feel like something that could only be achieved by barbell object, giving the jacket a unique presence that sets it apart from more conventional leather jackets.
Despite being a leather jacket, the leather is exceptionally lightweight, making it feel closer to wearing a shirt. This allows it to be enjoyed across a long season.
Material
Made from lightweight, supple goat suede, featuring a dense fiber structure that provides excellent durability.
The suede has been finished with a short nap and moderate thickness, creating a soft texture with a subtle, sponge-like resilience.
The camel-colored leather has a rugged character while also offering a refined, luxurious feel.

Although designed as a leather jacket, it features the slightly relaxed silhouette characteristic of barbell object.
The action pleats are designed to open up and appear relatively extended when worn, providing freedom of movement while creating a distinctive three-dimensional silhouette.
The wire incorporated into the front placket can be reshaped according to your preference, allowing you to create virtually endless variations in the front’s appearance.

This is the kind of leather jacket that makes you think, “What is this?” the moment you first see it.

Its most distinctive feature is the wire incorporated into the front, which completely challenges the conventional idea of what a leather jacket should be. The front can be reshaped into different forms, while the sleeve slits are designed specifically with rolled-up sleeves in mind.
