A flight vest inspired by the way young people in the 1980s and ’90s would cut the sleeves off MA-1 jackets and reinterpret them in their own way.
Based on the DIY spirit of intentionally breaking down an established design, this piece is designed to complement the wearer’s individual style, working equally well with punk or street-inspired looks.
Removing the sleeves greatly expands its layering potential, allowing the overall impression to change depending on what you wear underneath, such as a shirt, hoodie, or knit.
Features an IDEAL zipper, giving the vest a rugged character reminiscent of vintage military wear.
IDEAL is a zipper manufacturer founded in 1936.
The lining comes in a rescue orange color, faithfully referencing the design of authentic MA-1 flight jackets.
