• The original sashiko pattern, distinct from traditional motifs, gives each cap a truly one-of-a-kind presence.

• Sashiko Gals is a project established in 2024 by approximately 15 women in their 40s to 80s living in Otsuchi, Iwate Prefecture. Its roots can be traced back to the Otsuchi Sashiko Project, which was launched as part of reconstruction efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake.
