・一般的なグレンチェックではなく、少し表情を崩した変形グレンチェックの色合いがとてもよくセレクト。この生地がパッと見は暑そうにみえてしまうのですが、
着用してみたら、とても快適でシックな印象もありとても良かったです。柄と色合いが相まって落ち着いた大人な印象になるのもうれしいところ。

MATERIAL
Made from nonnotte’s signature cotton-linen fabric, previously developed under the name “African Glen Check.”
The combination of cotton and linen provides a lightweight feel with a moderate amount of structure, while minimizing the surface area in contact with the skin for excellent breathability and a comfortable, dry touch.
The fabric allows air to pass through naturally and resists clinging to the body even in warm, humid weather, creating a light and refreshing feeling that can almost make you forget you are wearing a shirt.
The weave is not a traditional Glen Check, but rather a subtly irregular interpretation of the classic pattern.
Instead of making the check pattern overly prominent, it has been designed to emerge quietly through the subtle shadows and depth created by the weave.
For this season, the color palette has also been refined, with brown and beige as the foundation. The brightness and saturation of each color have been carefully adjusted.

What immediately caught my attention was the color combination of this subtly irregular interpretation of the classic Glen Check.

At first glance, the fabric might look like it would be rather warm, but once I actually tried it on, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and breathable it felt.

It also has a sophisticated, understated character, and the combination of the pattern and colors creates a calm, mature impression that I really like.

I thought this would look especially good as a matching set, which is why we also selected the trousers in the same fabric.

If I had to compare the texture to something familiar, perhaps a very thin bath towel would be close... although it is difficult to find a perfect comparison.

It is a textile that you do not often come across elsewhere, and there is something genuinely exciting about holding and wearing it for the first time.
