The Final Open-Collar Shirt of the Season, Made from nonnotte's Original Lineon Fabric
DESIGN
The Calm Oversized Open Collar Shirt is designed to balance effortless comfort with a naturally refined appearance.
Although generously oversized, the shirt is not simply made larger. The pattern is carefully balanced so that the fabric sits slightly away from the body, allowing air to move through the silhouette while the garment naturally settles into place.
Easy to wear on its own, it also works beautifully as a lightweight outer layer, naturally softening the overall tension of a styling.
Rather than being overly structured or refined, the idea is that not trying too hard ultimately creates a more beautiful appearance.
nonnotte's concept of a “quiet oversized” silhouette meets the lightness and fluid drape of Lineon, creating a shirt that naturally blends into everyday life while subtly changing its expression with the wearer's movement.
MATERIAL
Lineon is an original nonnotte fabric developed to allow the individual qualities of linen and rayon to coexist naturally within a single textile.
Linen provides a light, airy freshness, while rayon offers a beautiful, fluid drape reminiscent of flowing water.
Rather than emphasizing either quality individually, Lineon combines the two in a subtle way to create a new and distinctive texture.
Woven at high density, the fabric has a moderate degree of structure and a beautifully defined surface, while retaining a supple drape that moves naturally with the body.
The dry, airy feel of linen is combined with the smooth touch of rayon, making the fabric comfortable even during the warmer months.
The fabric initially has a crisp, composed appearance, but gradually softens and settles into the body through wear and repeated washing, developing an individual character unique to its wearer.

BUYER'S VOICE

This is the latest addition to the Lineon series, which received numerous inquiries even after selling out last year.

There is actually a story behind this particular release. We were told that the artisan capable of producing this fabric has sadly passed away, and the remaining existing stock of the fabric is now coming to an end.

That means this may be the final opportunity to own a garment made from Lineon.

Last year's version was offered in black, while this season the designer, Mr. Sugihara, has chosen to offer the shirt exclusively in Safari Beige. There is almost a sense of intention behind the choice—as if the designer is saying, “This is the color I want you to wear.”

It is a fabric that remains remarkably comfortable even in the height of summer, while the garment itself carries a crisp, composed presence.

A rare fabric, a quiet but distinctive silhouette, and potentially the final opportunity to experience Lineon.
