Buyer’s Voice
27SSからブランド始動となるEv.(イーブ）。
基本的には普遍的な洋服が多いのですが、ステッチ使いや着た時のシルエットであったり、パッと見はシンプルですが、手にしたときに気づくような細かい拘りを感じることのできるラインナップでした。
ブランド始動からお取り扱いさせていただくのは当店では初めてではございますが、人気だからお取り扱いするのではなく、物でみて良いと感じたものをセレクトしているお店でありたいです。
私が買い物する時に、ブランド名はさほど気にならず、良いと思った物を買うようにしております。
それはセレクトでも同じです。
アパレル経験10年ですが、流行る前にブランド知らずに買っていたら、それが人気になっていたなんてことが多々ありました。
良いと思ったものが結果的に人気になっていたという形が私としては嬉しいし、手に取った方も先取り感あって嬉しいですね。
小言でしたが、2月頃から初回デリバリーがスタートいたしますので、ご期待ください〇

Buyer’s Voice

Ev. is a brand launching with the 27SS season, and we are very excited to introduce it at GANKO from its very first season.

At first glance, the collection is made up primarily of timeless, universal pieces. But once you look more closely, you start to notice the thoughtful details—the way the stitching is used, the silhouette when worn, and the small design choices that may not immediately stand out, but reveal themselves when you actually pick up and wear the garments.

This is the first time GANKO will be carrying a brand from the very beginning of its launch.

However, I don’t want GANKO to be a store that selects brands simply because they are already popular. I want us to be a store that chooses pieces because we genuinely feel that the clothes themselves are good.

When I shop for myself, the brand name isn’t particularly important to me. I tend to buy whatever I genuinely think is good.

I feel exactly the same way when selecting for GANKO.

I’ve been working in the apparel industry for 10 years, and there have been many times when I bought something simply because I liked it, without even knowing that the brand would later become popular.

Personally, I’m happiest when something I thought was good eventually becomes popular as a result.

And I think there’s also something exciting for the customer in discovering a piece before it becomes widely known.

Anyway, that was a little personal aside〇
