BOWWOW(バウワウ)コットンリネンの混紡生地を使用したベトナムジャケットが3月7日(土)11時から発売開始となります。

このベトナムジャケットは1960年代後半〜1970年代初頭にかけて、ベトナム戦争に従軍した米兵たちが記念品としてオーダーした通称「ベトジャン」を、モチーフに再構築した一着です。

リネンファブリックを織り交ぜるというありそうであまりない生地により独特の凹凸感があり、ヴィンテージらしい雰囲気を再現しております。

柔らかくとても着やすいため、シャツ感覚でも着用可能なライトアウターです。

裏地がなく、その点もシャツに近い感覚で着れる理由の一つかと思います。

サイズ感は私が175cm65㎏でＬを着用してジャスト、ＸＬでほどよくゆとりのあるサイズ感になります。

The Vietnam Jacket by BOW WOW, made from a cotton-linen blended fabric, will be released on Saturday, March 7th at 11:00 AM.

This piece is a reconstruction inspired by the so-called “Vietnam Jacket” (Viet-Jyan), originally custom-ordered as souvenirs by U.S. soldiers who served in the Vietnam War from the late 1960s to the early 1970s.

By incorporating linen into the fabric—something uncommon yet highly effective—it achieves a distinctive textured surface with subtle irregularities, recreating an authentic vintage atmosphere.

The fabric is soft and extremely comfortable, making it suitable to wear like a shirt as a light outer layer.

It is unlined, which further enhances its shirt-like feel and versatility.

Size XL provides a comfortable, slightly relaxed fit.
