・経糸に絹生糸無撚り糸、緯糸にリネン糸を使用したダブルクロス
・上品なシルクにカジュアルな印象のリネンがミックスしたテキスタイル

27SS展示会にてこのパンツを履いた瞬間。かっこよすぎて驚愕しました。。。私は気に入った服を試着した際に鏡の前から離れられないことが多々あるのですがその現象に陥りました。
まず、こんな服は見たことがなくて、そしてカモ柄好きででもプリントでなく有松絞りで、服が放つ魂はもちろんのことこれを作った山内さんにも感無量。
ヴィンテージシルクリネンはご好評いただいておりますが、その最高の生地にこの有松絞り。値段なんて関係なくなるくらい頭から離れず。。

Designed around Yamauchi's philosophy of creating simple silhouettes enhanced by exceptional construction and craftsmanship.
At first glance, these trousers appear understated, but they are packed with carefully considered details that embody the essence of classic men's casual wear.
Features such as the side adjusters and hem tabs draw inspiration from U.S. Army baker and cargo pants, reinterpreted with Yamauchi's uncompromising level of craftsmanship.

Material
Vintage Silk-Linen Double Cloth (Hokuriku, Japan)
Woven from untwisted raw silk yarns in the warp and linen yarns in the weft, creating a luxurious double-cloth fabric.
A sophisticated textile that combines the refined elegance of silk with the relaxed character of linen.
Weighing approximately 250g, the fabric offers an ideal balance, making it suitable for beautifully tailored tops and bottoms alike.
The premium silk fabric undergoes a specialized suede-finishing process that intentionally creates subtle surface abrasion, followed by a bio-wash treatment that softens the fabric and gives it a naturally worn, vintage-inspired appearance.
Although silk is often considered delicate, these two finishing processes make the fabric much easier to care for, allowing it to be hand-washed at home.
Often referred to as the "Queen of Fibers," silk is known for its elegance, sophistication, and unmistakable presence.
Arimatsu Shibori Processing (Aichi, Japan)
Yamauchi is based in Aichi Prefecture, home to the historic town of Arimatsu, famous for its centuries-old shibori dyeing tradition.
Like many traditional Japanese crafts, Arimatsu Shibori faces a shortage of successors, and only a small number of artisans continue to preserve the craft today.
Since the brand's inception, Yamauchi has worked closely with a fifth-generation shibori artisan to explore new possibilities for this traditional technique.
As part of a special collection, the brand introduces at least one Arimatsu Shibori item each season to help preserve and share the beauty and artistry of this remarkable Japanese craft.
Every piece features a completely unique camouflage pattern created through the handmade shibori process, allowing the wearer to appreciate a one-of-a-kind design while experiencing a tradition that has continued since the Edo period.

The moment I tried these pants on at the 27SS exhibition, I was honestly blown away. They looked so incredible that I found myself unable to step away from the mirror—a feeling I only get when I've found something truly special.

I've never seen anything quite like them. I love camouflage, but instead of a printed pattern, this is created through traditional Arimatsu Shibori. The garment has an undeniable soul, and I couldn't help but admire not only the pants themselves but also Yamauchi's incredible craftsmanship.

The Vintage Silk-Linen series has already been incredibly well received, but combining that exceptional fabric with Arimatsu Shibori takes it to another level. I simply couldn't stop thinking about them, regardless of the price.

Of course, I'll be buying a pair myself.
