These trousers evoke the distinctive silhouette of the Oxford Bags that became popular in the 1930s, while the straight, clean fall has been adjusted to fit naturally into contemporary fashion.
The design itself is minimal, but the fabric has been given a fibril treatment that creates a soft, vintage-like texture and a naturally matte appearance. This gives the trousers the distinctive atmosphere that we have come to expect from OLD JOE.
The fabric quality is, of course, excellent, as you would expect from OLD JOE, and the classic impression they create when worn is something I particularly associate with the brand.
At first glance, they may appear black, but the slightly faded character of the fabric gives them a subtle sense of age. They are refined slacks, yet at the same time possess an unmistakable vintage character that is difficult to put into words.
